PPLN/PPLT periodically poled inversion optical crystal
Two types: Bulk type and Waveguide (WG) type.
■ High-efficiency SHG/SFG/DFG/OPA/OPG/OPO/THz generation is possible through quasi-phase matching (QPM) using periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) or periodically poled lithium tantalate (PPLT) crystals. ■ There are two types of waveguide: Proton-Exchange (PE) type and Ridge type, both of which enable highly efficient wavelength conversion due to the optical confinement effect.
